We celebrated Heart’s Day in each of our workstation. But after our shift we decided to celebrate a couple of hours, though late since our shift ends at 12AM. A good place to go to relax and celebrate at the same time is at Chocolate Fire. :) We ordered our chosen drinks, I ordered an iced white chocolate drink, while he ordered a hot chocolate drink. Talk about our differences. And we shared our I Love You banoffee pie. Too bad, we were hoping for Chocolate Fire’s ganache cakes.
We delight in simple things — like being together no matter where or what we eat, mapaturo-turo o mapa-five-star-fine-dining pa yan.
We must love everyday. A hold of hands, a bouquet of tulips or even santan or a thank you — let’s make it a point to make our loved ones feel that they are loved even through our simple gestures and appreciation.
2011-12-27. The caramel macchiato and the cake shared with my patootskie who I bumped into at ATC. I missed that girl.
Have a break — some time for me, myself and I.
Breakfast while waiting for the boyfriend… and reading Palahniuk’s ‘Pygmy’.
With the boyfriend at the early hours of November 30, 2011 holiday: our usual talks plus the internet. We needed to update something online.
Sweet officemates gave me a cake and ordered me a venti caramel macchiato with the right spelling of my ‘MERIE’ on the cup for my birthday.
‘Neri’ instead of “Merie”.
Always misspelled. (@Starbucks, McKinley)
A year ago… When I still used to have time to be on leave just to be with a cup of hot chocolate, my set of pens, planner-diary and myself.
It’s been a while. And to this person I often share a coffee shop moment with — we’ll still have more coffee moments. More..
p.s. I wish I could do something BIG to whatever you’re going through… I wish..
Spent the first hours of Thursday (last week) at Bo’s Coffee, Glorietta 5. That coffee shop will always be special. Talks that make a lot of sense happen there — heartbreaks, dreams, frustrations, realizations, discussions, glee, happiness and a lot more. I can’t remember the last time I visited the place. Not to mention that I needed, ok, still need to refrain from drinking caffeinated, anything with coffee drinks. So last Thursday was nostalgic. White chocolate coffee-blended cold drink plus blueberry cheesecake. I miss.
The usual talk over a cup of hot caramel macchiato with Julie.
“Have pride and stop sulking on one corner over a matter that won’t really be resolved by making yourself look pitiful and by those lame and loser moves. Have a tad pride and strut your confidence instead. Maybe through that he’ll take notice. Oh wait, you shouldn’t even be bothered. Move on. Yes, hard but just move on.”
Prolly this be one of my favorite photos apart from having a photo with my gorgeous cousin (we can only have photos together every ‘n’ years) the things I love are captured here…
take me back there!
